“Help the state provide affordable housing solutions”

Kentucky’s Health and Social Services Recovery Act funds support the Commonwealth’s commitment to assist those in greatest need during the nationwide recovery. With the funding, the Commonwealth can continue to provide support and assistance to the most vulnerable Kentuckians including children, the disabled and the elderly. Programs include direct income assistance, child care, community services, healthcare and nutrition.  Health and Social Services funding includes an increased match in federal awards for Kentucky’s Medicaid Program, representing the single largest state program receiving ARRA assistance.
