State Contract Search Disclaimer
On Tuesday, February 17, 2009 President Barack Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The purposes of that Act were to promote economic recovery, preserve and create jobs, assist those most affected by the recession, stabilize state and local government budgets, and invest in the future through expanding infrastructure, environmental protection, and providing educational and job training assistance.
The below contract search includes all state contracts for goods or services procured, or that would be eligible for procurement, with funds from the ARRA. In order to preserve the purposes of the ARRA, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has created a series of standard terms and conditions, which apply to all expenditures of ARRA funds, in order to ensure their proper use and cost effectiveness.
The search contains detailed records and copies of the contracts for all Master Agreements or term contracts (MA); one time contracts created by centralized procurement agencies (CT and CT2); personal service contracts, grants, and memoranda of agreement (MOA and PON2) which require review by the Government Contract Review Committee. Details for other procurements including payments from Master Agreements are being compiled manually for display in the weeks ahead. It is our intent to make copies of all ARRA contracts available on this search. Additionally, more searches are being developed which will tie programs and projects to specific contracts.
All procurements have followed Kentucky's Model Procurement Code codified in KRS 45A; Information is updated on a nightly basis; there is no exemption level for transactions displayed.
